Delicious baked apple cider donuts that are easy to make and full of autumn flavors.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup apple cider
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a bowl.
- In another bowl, mix apple cider, sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Spoon batter into donut pan, filling each mold 3/4 full.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh apple cider for the best flavor.
- If you don’t have a donut pan, you can shape them by hand.
- Dust with powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar for extra sweetness.
