A healthy and delicious breakfast option combining apples, cranberries, and oats.
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 apple, diced
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1 cup milk (or plant-based alternative)
- 1 egg (or flax egg for vegan)
- 1 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix oats, apple, cranberries, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, and honey.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients.
- Pour into a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until set.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Swap apples for pears if preferred.
- Add nuts for extra crunch.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
