Description

BBQ pulled pork lettuce wraps are a light and flavorful dish. They combine tender pulled pork with crisp lettuce for a fresh take on BBQ.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork shoulder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 8 large lettuce leaves
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper


Instructions

  1. Season pork shoulder with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan and sear pork on all sides.
  3. Transfer pork to a slow cooker and add BBQ sauce.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours until tender.
  5. Shred pork with forks.
  6. Wash and dry lettuce leaves.
  7. Fill each leaf with pulled pork.
  8. Top with sliced onion and avocado.
  9. Serve immediately.
