Description
A quick and flavorful stir-fry featuring tender beef and crisp broccoli in a savory sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp cornstarch
Instructions
- Slice the flank steak thinly against the grain.
- Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger in a bowl.
- Heat oil in a pan over high heat. Add beef and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Remove from pan.
- Add broccoli to the pan. Stir-fry for 3 minutes.
- Return beef to the pan. Pour sauce over and stir well.
- Mix cornstarch with water and add to the pan. Cook until the sauce thickens.
- Serve hot with rice.
Notes
- Slice beef thinly for the best texture.
- Adjust soy sauce to taste if needed.
- Use fresh broccoli for crispiness.
