Description

A fusion dish combining beef enchilada flavors with tortellini pasta for a hearty meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 package (9 oz) cheese tortellini
  • 1 can (10 oz) enchilada sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions and cook until softened.
  3. Stir in enchilada sauce, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Add cooked tortellini to the skillet and mix well.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top. Cover and let it melt for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve hot.
