Delicious and hearty black bean burgers packed with flavor and perfect for any meal.
Ingredients
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Mash black beans in a bowl until mostly smooth.
- Add breadcrumbs, onion, egg, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Form mixture into 4 patties.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Serve on buns with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- For a crispier texture, bake patties at 375°F for 20 minutes.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Freeze uncooked patties for later use.
