Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread (sourdough or white)
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup sliced dill pickles
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp yellow mustard
Instructions
- Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Place one bread slice, buttered side down, in the skillet.
- Layer with cheese and pickles.
- Spread mayonnaise and mustard on the unbuttered side of the second bread slice.
- Place the second slice on top, buttered side up.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cheese melts.
- Slice and serve warm.

- Use thick-sliced pickles for extra crunch.
