Ingredients
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Heat olive oil and butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Add sliced onions, salt, and sugar. Cook for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until onions are caramelized.
- Let the onions cool completely.
- In a bowl, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper.
- Add the cooled caramelized onions and stir to combine.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
