Description
Cheesecake stuffed chocolate chip cookies combine rich cheesecake filling with classic chocolate chip cookies for a decadent treat.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Chill for 30 minutes.
- Cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, then mix.
- Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add to wet ingredients.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Scoop cookie dough, flatten slightly, add a spoonful of cheesecake filling, and seal with more dough.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden. Cool before serving.
Notes
- Chill dough for 30 minutes to prevent spreading.
- Use a cookie scoop for even portions.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
