Description

A creamy and flavorful pasta dish with tender chicken, garlic, Cajun spices, and bowtie pasta in a rich Alfredo sauce.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz bowtie pasta
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens.
  6. Add cooked pasta and chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
  7. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve hot.

Notes

  • Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste for more or less spice.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor.
  • Add a splash of pasta water if the sauce is too thick.
