Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan and cook ground beef with onion until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Season beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Layer half the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish.
  5. Spread the cooked beef mixture over the potatoes.
  6. Add the remaining potato slices on top.
  7. Pour milk evenly over the casserole.
  8. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
