Description

A quick and flavorful dish combining tender chicken with creamy garlic parmesan rice.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook chicken until golden brown, about 5-6 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  5. Add rice, Italian seasoning, and stir to coat.
  6. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  7. Cover and cook for 15 minutes or until rice is tender.
  8. Stir in heavy cream and parmesan cheese.
  9. Return chicken to the skillet and heat through.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
