A warm and hearty cinnamon sweet oats bake perfect for breakfast or a healthy dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup milk (or plant-based milk)
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 banana, mashed
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix oats, milk, honey, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt in a bowl.
- Stir in mashed banana until smooth.
- Pour mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle chopped nuts on top if using.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until set.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
