A simple and delicious homemade cereal bar made with cornflakes, perfect for a quick breakfast or snack.
Ingredients
- 4 cups cornflakes
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, heat honey, peanut butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt over low heat until melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in cornflakes until fully coated.
- Press the mixture firmly into the prepared baking dish.
- Let cool at room temperature for 1 hour or refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Cut into bars and serve.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- For a crunchier texture, use fresh cornflakes.
- Substitute almond butter for peanut butter if preferred.
