Description
A creamy and refreshing homemade ice cream combining the richness of cottage cheese with the sweetness of mango.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cottage cheese
- 1 ripe mango, peeled and diced
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (optional for creamier texture)
Instructions
- Blend cottage cheese, mango, honey, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- If using heavy cream, whip it until soft peaks form and fold into the mango mixture.
- Pour into a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 4 hours.
- Stir every hour to prevent ice crystals from forming.
- Serve chilled and enjoy.
Notes
- For a dairy-free version, use coconut cream instead of heavy cream.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
- Use ripe mango for the best flavor.
