Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup crushed cotton candy
- Food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Fold in the crushed cotton candy.
- Divide the dough and add food coloring if desired.
- Scoop dough onto a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Let cool before serving.
