Description
A rich and spicy pasta dish with tender chicken, creamy mozzarella sauce, and Cajun seasoning.
Ingredients
- 8 oz rotini pasta
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook rotini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken with Cajun seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until browned and fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan until melted and smooth.
- Add cooked pasta and chicken back to the skillet, tossing to coat in sauce.
- Season with salt and black pepper.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- Adjust Cajun seasoning to your preferred spice level.
- For extra creaminess, add a splash of milk if the sauce thickens too much.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
