Description
A delicious and easy-to-make shrimp bowl with creamy garlic butter sauce served over herb-infused rice.
Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook rice according to package instructions and mix in thyme.
- Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.
- Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side.
- Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 2 minutes.
- Stir in lemon juice and parsley.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve shrimp over herb rice.
Notes
- Use fresh shrimp for best results.
- Adjust cream quantity for desired sauce thickness.
- Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat.
