Description

A delicious and easy-to-make dish featuring tender chicken in a creamy garlic parmesan sauce served with cheesy twisted pasta.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 8 oz twisted pasta (fusilli or rotini)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until golden and no longer pink inside (about 6-7 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream, parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Stir until the sauce thickens slightly (about 3-4 minutes).
  5. Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet. Stir to coat with the sauce.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and mozzarella cheese. Mix well until the cheese melts.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
  • Substitute half-and-half for heavy cream if you prefer a lighter sauce.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
