Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream, then add parmesan, oregano, and basil. Stir until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Return chicken to the skillet and let it simmer in the sauce for 2-3 minutes.
- Mix cooked spaghetti with mozzarella cheese until melted and well combined.
- Serve chicken over cheesy spaghetti, topped with extra sauce.
Notes
- Use freshly grated parmesan for the best flavor.
- Adjust seasoning to your taste.
- For a lighter version, replace heavy cream with half-and-half.
