Ingredients
- 2 cups diced ham
- 4 cups peeled and diced potatoes
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
- Stir in ham and potatoes, cook for 2 minutes.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
- Stir in heavy cream, salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Simmer for another 5 minutes until heated through.
- Serve warm.

- Use leftover ham for best results.
- Add shredded cheese on top for extra flavor.
