Description
A quick and easy one-pot meal with creamy Italian flavors, tender ground beef, and perfectly cooked spaghetti.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Add onion and garlic, sauté for 2 minutes.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, beef broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Break spaghetti in half and add to the pot. Stir to submerge in liquid.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese.
- Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use lean ground beef for less grease.
- Add red pepper flakes for extra heat.
- Fresh basil makes a great garnish.
