Description
A flavorful and creamy pasta dish with tender Cajun-seasoned chicken in a rich parmesan garlic butter sauce.
Ingredients
- 8 oz rotini pasta
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
Instructions
- Cook rotini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken with Cajun seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a pan. Cook chicken until browned and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Pour in heavy cream, then stir in parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add cooked pasta and chicken to the sauce. Toss to coat.
- Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
- Adjust Cajun seasoning for more or less spice.
- Substitute half-and-half for heavy cream for a lighter version.
- Use freshly grated parmesan for best texture.
