Ingredients

  • 12 mozzarella string cheese sticks
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Cooking spray


Instructions

  1. Cut each mozzarella stick in half.
  2. Place flour in a shallow bowl.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. In a third bowl, mix breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
  5. Roll each mozzarella piece in flour, then dip in egg, and coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Repeat the coating process for extra crispiness.
  7. Place sticks in the air-fryer basket in a single layer.
  8. Lightly spray with cooking oil.
  9. Air-fry at 400°F for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Serve immediately with marinara sauce.
