Description

Crispy, golden avocado fries with a crunchy outer layer and creamy center. A delicious snack or side dish.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut avocados into thick slices.
  3. Place flour in a shallow bowl. Mix eggs in another bowl. Combine breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in a third bowl.
  4. Coat each avocado slice in flour, dip into beaten eggs, then roll in breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place coated slices on the baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use firm but ripe avocados to prevent mushiness.
  • For extra crispiness, spray with cooking oil before baking.
