Description

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs beef stew meat, cubed
  • 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme


Instructions

  1. Layer half the potatoes, beef, and onions in the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle half the cheese, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and thyme over the layers.
  3. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  4. Pour the heavy cream and beef broth over the top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the beef is tender.
  6. Serve hot.
