Description

A hearty and comforting dish made with tender ham, potatoes, and cheese cooked to perfection in a crockpot.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups diced ham
  • 4 cups peeled and diced potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder


Instructions

  1. Grease the inside of your crockpot.
  2. Layer the diced potatoes, ham, and onion in the crockpot.
  3. In a bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, milk, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Pour the mixture over the potatoes and ham.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top and let it melt before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute cream of mushroom soup for a vegetarian version.
  • Add frozen peas or carrots for extra vegetables.
