A rich and chocolatey baked oats recipe that tastes like dessert but is perfect for breakfast. It’s easy to make and packed with flavor.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/4 cup milk (or plant-based milk)
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Mix oats, cocoa powder, and baking powder in a bowl.
- Add maple syrup, milk, and vanilla extract. Stir well.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour into a greased ramekin or small baking dish.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until set.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Use gluten-free oats if needed.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup.
- Top with yogurt or fruit if desired.
