A hearty and comforting dish combining ground meat, cheese, and savory seasonings baked into a delicious casserole.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp mustard


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, cheese, milk, egg, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Press the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  4. In a small bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Spread evenly over the meatloaf.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
