Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add onion and cook until soft.
- Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
- Stir in tomato sauce, salt, pepper, oregano, and basil. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Toss the cooked pasta with the beef sauce. Serve with Parmesan cheese if desired.

- Use whole wheat pasta for a healthier option.
- Add vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
