Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour

- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in milk until smooth.
- Cook until the mixture thickens, stirring constantly.
- Reduce heat to low and add shredded cheese, stirring until melted.
- Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Serve warm over fries or your favorite dish.

- For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
