Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1/3 cup water


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.
  3. In another bowl, mix sugar, oil, eggs, pumpkin puree, and water.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring just until blended.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

  • Use pure pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
