A quick and easy recipe for egg and cheese waffles, also known as chaffles. Perfect for a low-carb breakfast or snack.
Ingredients
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder (optional for fluffier texture)
Instructions
- Preheat your waffle maker.
- In a bowl, whisk the eggs until well beaten.
- Add shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and baking powder. Mix well.
- Pour half of the batter into the waffle maker and cook for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown.
- Repeat with the remaining batter.
- Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- Use non-stick spray if your waffle maker is not non-stick.
- Adjust cooking time based on your waffle maker.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
