Fluffy buckwheat pancakes with a nutty flavor. A healthy alternative to traditional pancakes.
Ingredients
- 1 cup buckwheat flour
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
- Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Add milk, egg, and melted butter. Stir until smooth.
- Heat a lightly greased pan over medium heat.
- Pour 1/4 cup batter for each pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook the other side.
Notes
- Let the batter rest for 5 minutes for fluffier pancakes.
- Adjust milk for thicker or thinner pancakes.
- Serve with maple syrup or fresh fruit.
