Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 cup grated cucumber (for tzatziki)
- 1 cup Greek yogurt (for tzatziki)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (for tzatziki)
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for tzatziki)
- 1 clove garlic, minced (for tzatziki)
- 1/4 tsp salt (for tzatziki)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, feta, and parsley.
- Shape into 1-inch meatballs and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
- For tzatziki, combine grated cucumber, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, and salt in a bowl.
- Serve meatballs with tzatziki sauce.
Notes
- Drain excess liquid from grated cucumber before adding to tzatziki.
- Use lean ground turkey for a healthier option.
- Meatballs can be pan-fried instead of baked.
