Description

A simple and hearty ground beef hobo casserole that’s easy to prepare and perfect for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 cups frozen hash browns
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, milk, mixed vegetables, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Spread the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and evenly distribute the hash browns over the top.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the hash browns are golden and the casserole is bubbling.
  7. Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes
