Description

A simple and flavorful Halal Snack Pack (HSP) you can make at home. Perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 500g halal-certified lamb or chicken, diced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 large potato, cut into fries
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup garlic sauce
  • 1/2 cup chili sauce
  • 1 pita bread, toasted and cut into pieces


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Toss the potato fries with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Bake for 20-25 minutes until crispy.
  2. Heat a pan with olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced meat and cook until browned.
  3. Season the meat with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. Assemble the Halal Snack Pack by layering the fries, meat, shredded cheese, garlic sauce, and chili sauce in a container.
  5. Serve immediately with toasted pita bread on the side.
