A simple and flavorful Halal Snack Pack (HSP) you can make at home. Perfect for a quick and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 500g halal-certified lamb or chicken, diced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 large potato, cut into fries
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup garlic sauce
- 1/2 cup chili sauce
- 1 pita bread, toasted and cut into pieces
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Toss the potato fries with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Bake for 20-25 minutes until crispy.
- Heat a pan with olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced meat and cook until browned.
- Season the meat with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Assemble the Halal Snack Pack by layering the fries, meat, shredded cheese, garlic sauce, and chili sauce in a container.
- Serve immediately with toasted pita bread on the side.
