Description
A quick and easy Instant Pot recipe for tender beef and crisp broccoli in a savory sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Set Instant Pot to sauté mode and heat oil.
- Add beef and cook until browned, about 3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- Add garlic and ginger, sauté for 30 seconds.
- Return beef to pot, add soy sauce, brown sugar, and beef broth. Stir.
- Close lid, set to high pressure for 10 minutes. Quick release pressure.
- Mix cornstarch and water, stir into pot. Add broccoli.
- Sauté for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens and broccoli is tender-crisp.
Notes
- Slice beef against the grain for tenderness.
- Adjust soy sauce for salt preference.
- Serve over rice or noodles.
