Description

Crispy egg rolls stuffed with creamy jalapeno popper filling.


Ingredients

  • 8 egg roll wrappers
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 jalapenos, seeded and diced
  • 2 strips cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
  • Oil for frying


Instructions

  1. Mix cream cheese, cheddar, jalapenos, bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Place 2 tbsp filling in center of each egg roll wrapper.
  3. Fold bottom corner over filling, then fold sides inward.
  4. Roll tightly and seal with beaten egg.
  5. Heat oil to 375F in deep fryer or skillet.
  6. Fry egg rolls for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Drain on paper towels before serving.

Notes

  • Wear gloves when handling jalapenos.
  • Bake at 400F for 15 minutes if preferred over frying.
  • Serve with ranch dressing for dipping.
