Description
Crispy egg rolls stuffed with creamy jalapeno popper filling.
Ingredients
- 8 egg roll wrappers
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 jalapenos, seeded and diced
- 2 strips cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Mix cream cheese, cheddar, jalapenos, bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Place 2 tbsp filling in center of each egg roll wrapper.
- Fold bottom corner over filling, then fold sides inward.
- Roll tightly and seal with beaten egg.
- Heat oil to 375F in deep fryer or skillet.
- Fry egg rolls for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels before serving.
Notes
- Wear gloves when handling jalapenos.
- Bake at 400F for 15 minutes if preferred over frying.
- Serve with ranch dressing for dipping.
