A light and airy dessert featuring crispy meringue topped with whipped cream and fresh kiwi.
Ingredients
- 4 large egg whites
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 4 ripe kiwis, peeled and sliced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- Gradually add sugar, vinegar, cornstarch, and vanilla while beating until glossy.
- Spoon meringue onto the baking sheet, shaping into a circle.
- Bake for 1 hour, then turn off the oven and let cool inside for another hour.
- Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff.
- Spread whipped cream over the cooled meringue.
- Arrange kiwi slices on top.
- Serve immediately.
