Description

A quick and flavorful Korean-inspired ground beef bowl with a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors. Easy to make and packed with protein.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 cup cooked rice


Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
  2. Add brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Stir well.
  3. Cook for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  4. Serve over cooked rice.
  5. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

  • Use lean ground beef for less grease.
  • Adjust red pepper flakes for more or less heat.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
