Description
A refreshing and easy-to-make lemon blueberry trifle with layers of lemon custard, whipped cream, and fresh blueberries.
Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups lemon curd
- 3 cups fresh blueberries
- 1 package (about 12 oz) pound cake, cubed
Instructions
- Whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- Layer the bottom of a trifle dish with half of the pound cake cubes.
- Spread a layer of lemon curd over the cake.
- Add a layer of whipped cream.
- Scatter half of the blueberries over the whipped cream.
- Repeat the layers, ending with whipped cream and blueberries on top.
- Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use store-bought lemon curd for convenience or make your own.
- Ensure the trifle chills properly to set the layers.
- Substitute strawberries or raspberries if preferred.
