Ingredients
- 3 large egg whites
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon matcha powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, beat egg whites, cream of tartar, and salt until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add sugar and continue beating until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold in softened cream cheese and matcha powder until fully incorporated.
- Scoop the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming small mounds.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until lightly golden. Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
- For a stronger matcha flavor, add an extra 1/2 teaspoon of matcha powder.
- Serve with fresh fruit or honey for extra sweetness.
