A deliciously moist chocolate cake with a rich coconut pecan topping.
Ingredients
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 jar caramel or chocolate sauce
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup whipped topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare chocolate cake mix as per box instructions and bake.
- While cake is warm, poke holes evenly with a fork.
- Pour sweetened condensed milk and caramel/chocolate sauce over the cake, letting it soak in.
- Sprinkle shredded coconut and chopped pecans on top.
- Let cool, then add whipped topping if desired.
- Slice and serve.
