A quick and easy one-pot creamy garlic parmesan chicken penne pasta dish that’s rich in flavor and perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add diced chicken and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add penne pasta, chicken broth, heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Once pasta is tender and sauce thickens, stir in parmesan cheese.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
