Description

A delicious and easy-to-make pull-apart garlic cheese bread, perfect as an appetizer or side dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of French bread (about 16 oz)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the French bread into 1-inch slices without cutting all the way through.
  3. Mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  4. Brush the butter mixture between each bread slice.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese between the slices.
  6. Wrap the loaf in foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  7. Unwrap and bake for another 5-10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

  • You can add a pinch of red pepper flakes for extra spice.
  • For best results, use freshly grated cheese.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the oven.
