Description

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup warm milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (for filling)
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon (for filling)
  • 2 tbsp softened butter (for filling)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (for glaze)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. Add pumpkin puree, warm milk, egg, melted butter, and pumpkin pie spice. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead dough for 5 minutes until smooth. Let rise for 1 hour.
  4. Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread softened butter, then sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Roll tightly and cut into 12 slices. Place in a greased pan and let rise 30 minutes.
  6. Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes until golden.
  7. Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for the glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls.
