Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/4 cup warm milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (for filling)
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon (for filling)
- 2 tbsp softened butter (for filling)
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (for glaze)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
- Add pumpkin puree, warm milk, egg, melted butter, and pumpkin pie spice. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead dough for 5 minutes until smooth. Let rise for 1 hour.
- Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread softened butter, then sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll tightly and cut into 12 slices. Place in a greased pan and let rise 30 minutes.
- Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes until golden.
- Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for the glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls.
