Description

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk, lukewarm
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 tsp salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease an 8-inch baking dish.
  2. Separate egg yolks and whites. Beat yolks with sugar until light.
  3. Add melted butter and vanilla. Mix well.
  4. Fold in flour until smooth.
  5. Gradually add milk while stirring.
  6. Mix in pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.
  7. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  8. Gently fold egg whites into the batter.
  9. Pour batter into the prepared baking dish.
  10. Bake for 45-50 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center.
  11. Let cool completely before slicing.
