Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil


Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces.
  3. Add onion, bell pepper, celery, and garlic. Sauté until softened.
  4. Stir in rice, paprika, thyme, cayenne, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Pour in beef broth and bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes or until rice is cooked.
  7. Fluff with a fork and serve hot.
