Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces.
- Add onion, bell pepper, celery, and garlic. Sauté until softened.
- Stir in rice, paprika, thyme, cayenne, salt, and black pepper.
- Pour in beef broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes or until rice is cooked.
- Fluff with a fork and serve hot.
Notes
- Use lean ground beef for a less greasy result.
- Adjust cayenne pepper to control spiciness.
