Description
Soft and fluffy cinnamon rolls with a sweet glaze, perfect for breakfast or dessert.
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Dissolve yeast in warm milk with sugar.
- Add melted butter, salt, eggs, and flour. Mix into a dough.
- Knead dough for 5 minutes, then let rise for 1 hour.
- Roll dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter, and sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll tightly, slice into 12 pieces, and place in a greased pan.
- Let rise for 30 minutes, then bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.
- Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls.
